Hi guys, i thought id add my build of my Bora Highline TDi, mapped to 164bhp, shges had a fair bit of work done like shoothing, notched, engine raised EGR delete etc.
Ive had her for about 2 and a half years now, bought it off my mate Alex, and another mate Dave had it before that, even before that it was a company car so i know the history.
Pretty much everything pasted from Unphased forum so things might not make sense in places!
Wheels came off and winter mode. montis on
GLis fitted but i hated them so i swapped for some V5 rears! much better!
Lights split open and painted GLi US looking
Someone decided they wanted to crash into my car and drive off, so bodyshop it was but i had to sell the Mercs
I got a bargain from a breakers yard, a set of Merc reps staggered fitment! condtion? VERY BAD! every wheel kurbed
Decided to have my front bumper and wings painted as it was hammered with chips
Brakes painted in some shite bronze! (later painted CC) HEL lines fitted
Mock up again with my 9 on the rear
Genuine roof bars (currently being polished)
Had a Terraclean done
Wheels back from the acid dippers, condition is still very bad.
V5 rears
Hand refurb happening
Wheels polished and paint going on slowly, im just rattle canning these at work.
Quite impressed as this is how they looked!
My arches started rusting so a bit of DIY painting sorted them out
Wheels finally fitted! Car need more lows though.
Lows nailed.
Small problem on the way to the Unphased meet, i hadnt checked my tyres pressures.
Brand new nappa leather gaitor as mine was pretty rough!
hated the bronze! so i repainted them in CC
A lot of abuse on the subframe meaned that needed changing before my Germany trip.
A new one was bought, painted and fitted
The Bora got all dirty and decided she wanted a gimp mask.

My drive sucks.
Had the bumpstrip redone as the smoothing cracked.
We took a trip to Hessisch Oldendorf, its a Classic VW Show in North Germany, we visited the factory at Wolfsberg and Porsche at Stuttgart
It was a great trip
Snow foaming in Brugge Belgium.
Nuremberg Germany, The roads were tough with the car being quite low
My mate with the car in Calais France
Back in the UK a few days later so i lowered the car back down to a nice rake and stance...
Oh and i had a Pro shoot done too with Riad

Thanks for reading, il keep this one updated with changes through winter, there wheels are coming back off and im having them redone. The bonnets getting painted and the parking dings pulled out
